El Carmelo has a variety of opportunities in which to volunteer: from outdoor gardening work to washing dishes to answering telephones (and more). We welcome volunteers at their convenience: weekdays or weekends.
The Discalced Carmelite Friars of El Carmelo consider our volunteers our co-workers in the retreat ministry. This includes those persons who are unable to join us for physical work, but support us by their prayers.
If you are interested in volunteering at El Carmelo, please send an email to our Office Manager, Nellie Lara, and ask to be put on our volunteer list. Please include your name, address, phone number, days and time you are available and the type of service you would like to offer. Please mention any special skills that you would be willing to offer to God through El Carmelo.
